Uncharted: Drake's Fortune & Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - Platinum Double Pack (PS3) - £29.19

You have to get this...

If you are unlucky enough not to own Uncharted or Uncharted 2 then you simply must buy this double pack. These two games are rated as two of the best on the PS3 & with good reason, the are both excellant. Great story, great action & both games look great. It really is like playing a movie!

LEGO Star Wars: Complete Saga - Classics (Xbox One / 360) - £19.99

The Force is strong in this one...

This game really is superb, nice graphics great game play & tons to do. If you like Star Wars you have to get this game, if you like LEGO you should get this game. If you hate both then you should still probably get this game, it really is the perfect platforming title & one that offers as much to adults as it does to children.

2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa (PS3) - £2.99

Five Star Footie!

I know football games linked to tournaments are not always great, but this was a real surprise. Following on from the excellent Fifa 10 this game has over 200 international teams & the South African World Cup was brilliantly re-created. Excellent fun & a game I have returned to long after the real thing was over.

Sports Champions: Move (PS3) - £8.99

Great Start!

This is a fine 'Move' title. It was a launch title & one of the better ones from the ones I have tried. There are a good array of sports on offer & an excellent introduction to the what the 'Move' has to offer. I hope they make a sequel.

Top Spin 4 (XBox 360) - £14.99

Best Tennis game ever!

The only way to describe this game is 'awesome'! It is brilliant, ultra realistic, great graphics & very satisfying to play. The difficulty level really does ramp up the further you get into the game & it feels you are involved in a real tennis match. This outshines every other tennis game on the market.

Top Spin 4 (Move Compatible) (PS3) - £14.89

Virtua Tennis 4 (Kinect Compatible) (Xbox 360) - £10.99

Game, Set, Match, TopSpin 4

I have been a massive fan of Virtua Tennis since its debut on the SEGA Dreamcast back in 1999 & in the arcades before that. I have owned pretty much every release on various systems over the last 12 years & have to say this has been the most disappointing to date. The game has failed to keep up with the competition & in many ways has gone backwards. The once excellent & deep career mode has been replaced with an incredibly short four season mode that once you have visited each of the four areas of the map ends & you have to start all over again. It is played out with a bizarre board game feel where you must buy tokens to move from plot to plot. The 'Kinect' features are clearly an afterthought & cannot be used for 90% of the game. With the recent arrival of the ultra realistic 'Topspin 4' I think Virtua Tennis needs a major rethink or it may be time for it to hang up its racquet for good.

FIFA 11 (Xbox 360) - £3.59

Goaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal!

My first Fifa game was Fifa 95 on the SEGA Megadrive which was great & I have been enjoying the game every year since. Fifa 11 is different though, it is just better. In my opinion it is by far the best representation of a football game that I have ever played. I have had it since its release & still can't stop playing it, the 'Be a Pro' feature is so detailed & fun to play that eats up days of your life at a time. The online has been improved & playing & beating your mates is now more fun than ever. Uploading your favorite goals to the EA servers so you can show everyone at work your wonder strikes is very satisfying. I don't think I will stop playing this ever, well not until Fifa 12 comes out anyway!

LittleBigPlanet 2 - Move Compatible - Essentials (PS3) - £13.99

Return of the Sackboy!

I played & enjoyed 'LittleBigPlanet' but for me 'LittleBigPlanet 2' is superior in nearly every way. The single player is fun & long enough to keep you entertained but the real key to this title like the first one is the enormous amount of new levels added to the game every day. Whether you are a budding games designer or like me happy to let someone else do all the work for you & play the levels that appear on the community boards there is something for everyone. This is the kind of game you will continue to go back too just to see what else people have come up with, you really are only limited by your own imagination & having enough hours in the day.
