Good special effects considering the age of the movie
As usual the moviemakers have conveniently forgotten that we arrived on the planet long after the dinosaurs. No matter, this is a much better than usual attempt to bring some believability to the situation, not least that the characters can only speak in grunts to each other, rather than modern Californian. Perfect landscapes and a haunting soundtrack make this a classic.
